Badinerie
From Orchestral Suite No. 2 in B Minor, this is a delightful, fast-paced piece for the advanced handbell choir and an accomplished flutist. To achieve a "Baroque" sound, stopped techniques, such as malleting and thumb damps, are used throughout the piece. Since the bells are primarily accompaniment to the flute score, care should taken to make sure that the dynamic level of the bells is subdued. The flutist would probably need his/her own copy of music (there is no separate flute score). Measures total 40 with a repeat.
